Second Multiplier Event
The Multiplier Event aimed to bring together representatives from the civilian academic community, European Military Institutions (Land Forces, Navy, Air Force & Police) which are not part of the project, students from Military and Civilian Universities across Europe, representatives of departmental authorities of the Ministry of Education, as well as local authorities.
The project partners presented to the community, the intellectual outputs of the project, the lessons learnt from the pilot training activities as well as their implementation plans regarding the implementation of the curriculum starting by the beginning of October 2022.
More than 70 people from 14 European countries participated in the event and attended the presentations prepared by the project partners. The Commandant of the Portuguese Air Force Academy, Major-General Rui Freitasand Implementation Group Chair of the EMILYO initiative, Colonel Assoc. Prof Harald Gell welcomed the participants. Subsequently, the representative of the European Security and Defence College, Lt Col (HAF) Ilias Makris, presented the added-value of the outcomes of the specific project for the European Military Academies and the education they offer. Following the presentations, instructors and cadets who participated in the pilot events, they shared their experiences with the audience and highlighted the anticipated positive impact of the common semester to them and their service.
